TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) was developed by Grand Rapids Christian Schools as an easy and effective way to provide tuition assistance.

TRIP allows you to reduce the cost of tuition by purchasing gift cards and gift certificates for things you buy every day from hundreds of national and local vendors.

How does TRIP work? When you purchase gift cards at face value, a percentage of your purchase is credited to your TRIP account. Two times per year (Nov. 1 and May 1), the accumulated TRIP credits are applied as payment to your tuition account, or donated to the tuition account you have designated. See Program Overview for complete details.

If school is cancelled in Grand Rapids on a Wednesday, we will be open for gift card sales that week on Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. If school is cancelled or delayed in Rockford on a Tuesday, there will be no gift cards sales at RCS that week.

VISA $50 and $100 cards are temporarily unavailable from our supplier. They are expected to be back in January. In the meantime, we can offer Discover $50 prepaid cards -- may be used wherever Discover credit cards are accepted.

$5 Starbucks cards are still available, while current supply lasts.

Best Buy $25 and $100 cards are no longer in stock. They may be ordered a week ahead, or ordered as instant ScripNow e-cards through your ShopWithScrip account.

Toys R Us has filed for bankruptcy. At this time, you may still order plastic cards a      week ahead, or download ScripNow instant e-cards. We recommend you use any          cards on hand as soon as possible. Local stores remain open at this time.

TRIP credit earned between 5-1-16 and 10-31-17 was distributed on November 1 and applied to your November or December tuition payment. Statements are now available to pick up at the TRIP Office.
